What makes Royal Touch Goldens different from other breeders? Our dogs are imported exquisite "Top “champion AKC bloodlines with excellent pedigrees. All of our Golden's have the appropriate clearances for hereditary defects for Golden's which are: OFA done and cleared with their (hips, elbows, eyes and heart). They have had their dew claws removed, updated on all vaccinations, microchip, dewormed, temperament tested and socialized. We are completely devoted to our goldens they are our children. We play and socialize and give our babies the proper care that they deserve. These babies have made a difference in our lives and they can in yours too. We take great pride in what we do. Please don’t hesitate to ask us questions at any time, we are happy to help you. Throughout the pregnancy, the dam is monitored to insure she and the puppies are doing very well. In addition to this she is provided with NuVet vitamins and other extra supplements and exercise for her health and the well-being of the puppies.  We are up all night/day, assisting with every birth during whelping, and take every measure to insure that each puppy comes through the critical first 48 hours in good health. We make sure all puppies are getting the proper amount of mother’s milk and all are in excellent health as well as the health of the dam.  Each puppy is then taken to the veterinarian for a check-up (along with the dam), and de clawed.  De clawing is a simple procedure in which the side claws of the front legs are removed, preventing painful and expensive accidents in the future.  Each puppy is carefully monitored throughout their time with us and well socialized and loved greatly.  They are also weaned on Taste Of The Wild puppy food.  By the time each puppy leaves us, your Golden Retriever puppy will have had its first vaccinations, 4 deworming’s, dew claws removed, micro chipping and a final check up from the veterinarian.

Each new puppy owner will receive:

Difference between the English/ British Crème and the American Golden Retrievers? Every dog lover is aware of the fact that the Golden Retriever is one of the most desired family dogs. In fact these dogs are so popular that they are the choice of movie producers and script writers too. (Movies included: Fluke, Homeward Bound, Full House, Air Bud series, many commercials) If a family movie involves a dog, it is generally this breed that is used. So what makes them so special? Actually, it is everything about them. When it comes to character a golden retriever is the best there is. Both the English and the American variety are highly intelligent and easy to obedience train. In addition to this they are patient and loving and will be your companion for life if you let them.

There are noticeable differences between the body structure of the American golden retrievers and the English variety.  The English variety is heavier, broader and more muscular than the American Goldens. The legs too are sturdier and shorter. You will even see a noticeable difference in the snout or the muzzle. Both can have square noses. The name English Cream Golden Retriever should be enough to give you an idea on the color of coat for these dogs. The coat of the English retriever ranges from a gold dusting to a cream-ish white. White or Cream Golden Retrievers are called a large variety of names including: English Cream Golden Retrievers, European Golden Retrievers, British Golden Retrievers, White Golden Retrievers, Light Golden Retrievers. Another feature of the coat of the English retriever is the fact that the coat is much thicker and more wavy than the American.  It is also to be noted that the eyes and nose of the English variant are complete black.  The American Golden is not, they have a light, pale skin.

Pricing of our Golden Retrievers?  Royal Touch Goldens has some of the finest top quality English Cream Goldens in the world along with a very extensive hands-on puppy training program. Therefore, they are most desired.  Royal Touch Goldens typically have most of the puppyies sold before they are born.  We believe you pay for what you get.  Buying a puppy should never be taken lightly. The decision on what dog you will have for 10-15 years or more should NEVER be based on price alone.  You want a best friend and companion that is going to live a healthy fulfilling life with you and your family. You may come across someone else that is cheaper in price, but we would like for you to ask yourself, do you want a dog that will have health problems due to lack of care and treatment.  In the long run, you will pay more in vet bills.  You don’t want your dog/puppy to go through all the pain of some of the diseases and genetic disorders that come with unethical breeders.  That’s why we provide the best health care in our puppies.  Our Puppies are started on top quality puppy food (Taste Of The Wild), 4 dewormings (3 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8weeks) given Puppy Shots such as (Duramune Max5, Corona virus, Parvovirus, Distemper, Parainfluenza, Adenovirus type 2, Hepatitis, 4 Leptis, coccidia treatment with Alban), dew claw removal, health records, microchipping, puppy collar, several health examination from our licensed vet and I will also look over each, (since I was assistant vet), 3 toys, puppy blanket, Pictures of puppy & parents, Limited AKC paperwork, Copies of parents pedigree's, Bathed in Synergy Labs Veterinary Formula Shampoo & Conditioners, NuVet information & Golden breed information, 2 Year Health Warranty and a lifetime of support. It's so sad that most people breed there dogs and don’t give them affection or the proper health care. We are different and we want to make a difference.
English Crème Golden Puppies- are $2,000-$4,000 depending on conformation and lineage. The pick of the litter, a male and female from every litter are selected by us or the buyers, this puppy will be sold for additional $500.  American Golden Retriever- are $1,000-$2,000 depending on conformation and lineage. The pick of the litter, a male and female from every litter are selected by us or the buyers, this puppy will be sold for additional $300. All our puppies are sold as pets under "limited" registration. In contract they must be Spayed/Neutered between the ages of 6 months old to the age of 1 year old.
Breeding rights- WE DO NOT -Full registration available only to approved show homes or selective breeders only. Must meet our requirements.
Do you offer multiple discounts? We do understand that you may want 2 puppies a brother and sister or 2 sisters or 2 brothers to have and keep company. Puppies love having another puppy to play with and especially a sibling, so we offer a discount if you want two. For 2 puppies on English is $3,800-$6,000 depending on conformation and lineage. For 2 puppies on American is $1,500-$3,000 depending on conformation and lineage...We do not offer discounts for more than 2 because we do not think that more than 2 puppies would receive the proper care and attention they need. Even 2 puppies are a lot of responsibility and we only sell to people that can manage 2 and only to someone who can be home with the puppies. Please note: (See our adoption information at the bottom of this page!) If you decide not to buy another golden retriever, but would like another dog to go with your Golden Retriever, please check out your local shelters, pounds, organizations.
I understand that things could be tough and you & your family want a well breed puppy, please talk to me, we may be able to do payments etc.  We can figure out something, everyone deserves to have such a wonderful pet.

Deposit- If you’re wanting to put a puppy on hold until the age of 8 weeks old. I do deposits of $500.00 non-refundable, each puppy will have a different color yarn around its neck when it’s born...That away you will see your puppy grow. (Check English or American puppies tab for the puppies) this puppy will be yours until the age of 8 weeks. By age 8 weeks you are responsible for paying the full amount owed on puppy or the puppy will be sold. Unless me and buyer have discussed otherwise. You can reserve a puppy before they are born. The mommy will have an ultrasound done to tell us how many puppies she will be having. Just put the deposit down and you can decide whether you want a female or male. Then you will be placed in the order in which people have already put deposits towards. So for example, if you were the first one to put down a deposit on a female in this litter, then you would be able to pick the first female out of the whole litter but, the first picked female does cost additional $500 but if you don’t want to do that you will have the choice to pick a second female. And, so on ... They do go fast. Back to questions page

Limited Registration means? The puppy is for pet only and cannot be used for breeding and is limited to certain AKC showing. My contract will say that you have to get the puppy spayed or neutered between the ages of 6 months old to 1 year old. I take this very seriously and will be punishable by law stated in contract. The Buyer will use the prefix Of Royal Golden at the end of the dog’s registered name.

Full Registration means? - Meaning you do have rights to (breeding/showing), is available for additional fee to only approved breeders. This is a big responsibility, and the dogs will have our kennel at the end of the AKC papers. And, will require good facilities in order to breed. The Buyer will use the prefix Of Royal Golden at the end of the dog’s registered name.

What does it mean to socialize your puppy?- Puppies go through a critical period of socialization between five and twelve weeks of age. During this period of time they mature very rapidly. If isolated from external stimuli and not exposed to the outside world, they can grow up to be fearful adult dogs. Litters of puppies raised in an isolated location such as a barn, a garage or a dog kennel often have little exposure to humans except those feeding them. If puppies never leave their confined, isolated quarters where they have been raised, they may never experience any external stimuli such as automobiles, strangers, loud noises or children running and playing. If puppies are not socialized at an early enough age, it makes little difference if they have been raised by a breeder, a private family or in a vacant building; the outcome will usually be the same. Puppies that receive little or no human handling between the ages of five and twelve weeks of age often remain fearful when exposed to new situations. Meeting their new family for the first time, the car ride to their new home, their first trip to the vet, and meeting children, strangers or other dogs for the first time can be extremely frightening for these puppies.  How does Royal touch Goldens get our puppies socialized so they grow up to be well-adjusted, adult dogs that are comfortable meeting strangers, children and other dogs? The key is to make sure our puppies get exposed to everything they may ever be exposed to during their lifetime, while they are very young. Once again, the critical age of socialization is between five and twelve weeks of age. If not exposed to new situations during this critical period, your puppy may always be fearful when exposed to new things in the future. Royal touch Goldens consistently have the puppies interact with strangers and our other adult dogs. They are not confined in a cage for 24 hours a day. They are raised at our home and handled consistently by us and by several people. Every puppy is accustomed to hair dryers, vacuum cleaners and automobiles. Enrolling your puppy in Royal Touch Golden's Puppy Program will also have many added benefits in socializing and training your puppy.  Back to questions page
What does it mean to "dew claw" a puppy?
Dew clawing is the process of removing the front inside claws of a puppy typically at the age of 2 or 3 days old. It is a very safe procedure much like cutting the umbilical cord. Many Goldens when they get older will have their dew claws caught on fabric and will have it injured. Having an adult Golden dew clawed is a very painful and expensive procedure. Many problems can be avoided if the breeder would spend the extra money and dew claw the pups at a very early age. We get this done when the puppies are 2 days old.  Back to questions page
What type of shots and tests are given to each puppy? Each puppy is examined by the vet just a few days after birth and their dew claws are removed. Each puppy is then dewormed at 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks & 8 weeks old. As a precaution, each puppy is treated with prescription Albon for coccidiosis. Right before pick-up each puppy is given their "puppy shot." The puppy shot is Duramune Max 5 which is the vaccine for corona virus, parvo virus, distemper, parainfluenza, adenovirus type 2 (and hepatitis) plus four Leptis. Also the pups will also be micro chipped. They are also bathed several times and before leaving our house. They are bathed in Synergy labs Veterinary Formula Shampoo and Conditioner.  Back to questions page
What do I do if I can no longer care for my Golden?

It is stated in our contract if you can no longer take care of your Golden because of a move or because of financial difficulties then you must return you Golden to Royal Touch Goldens. This goes for the entire life of the animal. We will either find a good home for your Golden or keep him for ourselves. How do I reserve a puppy?

1.) Please read through this FAQ page- We have designed this page to be as informative as possible. Even if you choose not to go with us we believe reading through every question and every answer will help you in your search for the right breeder and Golden Retriever.

2. Fill out our online questionnaire BEWARE of any buyer that won't ask you questions except how to pay for your dog. They are obviously only breeding for money and not for the betterment of the breed.

3. If approved place your deposit- Notice that Royal Touch Goldens does not have a BUY NOW button. If you see this on a breeder s webpage RUN AWAY! These breeders obviously do NOT have the best interest of their dogs in mind but their own pocket books. Those breeders are simply glorified pet stores who don't care about anything but the Almighty dollar. After we receive your questionnaire, we will review it carefully. Typically we will get back with you within 24-48 hours. If you are approved then we will give you the directions to place your $500 deposit with Pay Pal, or cashier's check/ money order. Please do NOT send money until you have filled out the questionnaire and have been approved.  Back to questions page
BE AWARE-

BE AWARE- of any breeder that is willing to advertise selling FULL registration to ANYBODY that pays extra. Once again, that breeder is not breeding for the betterment of the breed but simply for profit. As a rule of thumb, if a breeder is breeding for profit then they will cut-corners in every way possible to save money.

BE AWARE-of any buyer that won't ask you questions except how to pay for your dog. They are obviously only breeding for money and not for the betterment of the breed.

BE AWARE- a good breeder will educate you on the golden retriever bred and what responsibilities come along with owning a golden retriever-they are very active bred and loving chewing up things...They need lots and lots of time and love.

BE AWARE- a good breeder will inform you to bring the dog/puppy back if you or no longer willing to care for it. No good breeder wants there dog/puppies going somewhere they don’t know.

BE AWARE- a good breeder will always be there for you and your family for a lifetime of support with the dog. You should be able to call and ask questions or concerns that you may have, whenever you need too.

What is micro chipping? And why do we microchip our puppies?
It only takes one second for your dog to run away or get lost, whether you leave a door opened or a gate opened by your kids or even turn you back for a second and your beloved pet is lost or stolen. Only 14% of lost dogs are ever returned home, primarily because no one knows where the dog goes. Now, modern science has allowed animals to be found when they enter a shelter or vet clinic.  One of the first things they do is scan the animal for a microchip. If they find a microchip, and if the microchip registry has accurate information, they can quickly find the animal's owner. There’s no doubt that micro-chipping provides an effective means of bringing your lost dog home.  A micro-chip can also provide vital health information to the person who scans your dog, so for instance if the dog is diabetic, the vet who scans your dog will know to watch for signs that the dog needs his or her insulin before you are able to schedule a pick up. Unlike a dog tag which may fade over time, a micro-chip is designed to last for as long as the dog is alive.  Chip the dog once and he or she will be protected for life.  Implanting the chip is relatively painless and the chip will never become lost as a collar or tag might.  As compared to tattoos, a micro-chip is easier to read on a dog who has a heavy coat covering his tattoo.  In addition, chip numbers are typically entered into a database that allows the chip reader to identify you.

We microchip all of our puppies and adults when they have their first set of puppy shots at our local vet clinic. We want you to be able to locate your puppy if it ever gets lost or stolen.

Please note: that you should also purchase a collar and name tag also. This will allow a neighbor or a kind stranger to read the tag and call you to return your pet. You can make a name tag at some local Wal-Mart machines, order a tag from https://www.luckypet.com/, https://www.loveyourpets.com, your local petsmart and other pet stores.

You should provide the follow information on the dogs name tag: Name of dog, whichever name it answers to, Your address- If you move get dog tag changed, two phone numbers, or even your vet clinic phone number, And any health problems that the dog has. If it doesn’t then you don’t have to say anything.

Adopt a dog from a shelter to go along with you golden retriever :) Make a Difference?
We work with our local humane society in finding all unwanted animals forever home...Me and my family work very hard in donating a lot of our money and time in adopting animals out....We are a family improving the golden retriever breed and keeping top pedigrees. But, we cannot turn our back on animals that have been abused, threw out of their homes, given up. We love all animals and think that everyone who has a big heart for animals should join a small local organization in helping these babies out or adopted a friend to go along with your golden retriever whatever it may be it will help.. There's also many golden retriever rescues across America that need your help... Take some time in helping out. If it’s only hour you could make a difference.
